Thermo Fisher Scientific Microbiology Business Sale to Astorg Reaches Completion at $1.075 Billion
Thermo Fisher Scientific has completed the sale of its microbiology business to Astorg for approximately $1.075 billion in cash and a $50 million seller note. The divested unit, part of the Specialty Diagnostics segment, generated $645 million in 2025 revenue from antimicrobial susceptibility testing and culture media solutions.
