Focus on Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC)
The business will present its medication, Livdelzi® (seladelpar), along with interim long-term efficacy results. Among the important presentations will be:
- Actual patient data about the transition from obeticholic acid to Livdelzi.
- According to recent three-year interim results, Livdelzi may help stabilise or enhance liver health.
- RESPONSE study data on persistent pruritus.

Advancements in Viral Hepatitis Research
Additionally, Gilead will provide comprehensive assessments of research on bulevirtide for chronic HDV. Additional talks will address:
- An examination of participants in a Phase 3 research study with co-infections of HIV and HBV who attained a functional cure marker for HBV.
- Information from a Phase 1b research on new therapeutic HBV vaccinations under evaluation.

Public Health and Patient-Centric Initiatives
The focus will be on Gilead’s FOCUS program, a public health effort that emphasises frequent screening for blood-borne viruses. Two talks will highlight creative strategies and cooperative efforts to fight HIV and viral hepatitis.
The conference also marks the beginning of Gilead’s “Reflecting RealitiesTM” campaign. The World Hepatitis Alliance and the PBC Foundation are partners in this effort, which aims to document the authentic experiences of individuals with liver diseases.
