Merck KGaA Announces Silence Therapeutics Acquisition to Add Divesiran siRNA Therapy to Rare Disease Pipeline
The Silence Therapeutics acquisition gives Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, the Phase 3-ready siRNA therapy Divesiran for polycythemia vera. The deal carries a $1.1 billion enterprise value and is expected to close in Q1 2027.
