The Institute of Science and Technology (ISTA), Austria has started accepting applications for their 2024 PhD program. The ISTA PhD program seeks to generate flexible, curious, and broad-minded scientists. These researchers should also be able to work with various scientists and tackle challenges from multiple perspectives. In order to achieve this, their students complete a cutting-edge interdisciplinary training program that combines teaching and research components, and they get close mentoring from outstanding educators from many fields.
ISTA welcomes students with different academic backgrounds who can bring their skills and experiences to the scientific setting. Students with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Neuroscience, Mathematics, Computer science, Physics, Data Science, and scientific computing. the program is conducted in two phases comprised of pre and post-qualifying exams. The PhD research is included in the second phase along with teaching and annual research presentation.
