The Molecular Systems Engineering and Advanced Materials (IMSEAM) at the Heidelberg University in Germany has an open position for their PhD program in stream acoustic tools for 3D cell culture. To further 3D cell cultures and the area of organoid engineering, you will work with specialist research groups and construct innovative experimental settings in this multidisciplinary project.
Qualifications
- A completed master’s degree in biotechnology, mechanical, electrical, or physics, or a related field.
- You have a natural curiosity for science and like working both alone and with others in a group.
- Some interest in programming with Python or Matlab.
- An interest in the fields of microfluidics, 3D cell culture and organ-on-a-chip.
